Dry soil removal is often considered the best option for initial vegetables processing particularly were water volumes and dirty water cleaning is difficult. Many options are available to suit soil types, ranging from web units through to vibratory separation.
Where water is in good supply a trailer wash out system is one of the best ways to ensure reduced crop damage and good pre soaking abilities with difficult to clean soil types. These are available from single stage unload to multiple units with facility to "tip" differing sized trailers very easily.
Stone separation is vital to ensure minimum crop damage and longevity of washing equipment. The Cyclone de-stoner is the best way to ensure 100% stone and clod removal with limited damage. Available from 1.5M to 4M the cyclone can handle even the largest volumes of crop in the best effective way.
Standard barrel wash systems are available to give a good primary clean with large flat bed brush washers for volume work.
The Vege Polisher system from Everett Bros Eng has revolutionised the quality of pre-pack and fresh market produce. Built as a combination of a barrel and a brush washer it has been proven in reducing the "silvering" effect seen on carrots, cleaning deep within the eyes on potatoes without giving skin damage and has considerably increased "recovery rates" on out graded produce. With the product passing through the suspended barrel with a volume spray bar built inside there is no soaking effect of the vegetables within dirty water.

The EB Length Sizer has been designed for environments requiring continuous and high volume use. With a solid steel construction and heavy duty mounting and vibration units accrued from the construction industry the Length Sizer has been designed with longevity in mind. The Sizer can grade up to 4 outputs and is fitted with remote size adjustment as standard.

The EB Diameter grader is available from 2 - 6 size options on the standard machine with the availability of a high accuracy small grade unit in stainless steel designed specifically for the Cut & Peel market.
